Alfredo de Matos is vice president and market head of Brazil for Ecolab, the global leader in water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services that protect people and the resources vital to life.

De Matos joined Ecolab on July 10th, 2024, after a very successful and diverse 23-year career with a number of multinational companies like Danaher and GE, where he had leadership assignments with increasing responsibilities in Marketing, Sales, and General Management across multiple geographies.

Alfredo has a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of São Paulo, a postgraduate degree in Finance and Marketing from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard University.
