PURATE™ technology was created and developed by Nalco Water with the aim of offering safe and reliable water treatment for your municipality.It consists of generating chlorine dioxide on site, from a distribution system, which delivers the chemicals to the points of your application continuously or according to demand.
We use chlorine dioxide because, in addition to being a more efficient antimicrobial agent than chlorine, it produces fewer harmful by-products and solves the main water quality challenges, such as taste, odor, color, THM, golden mussels, making it a sustainable and reliable innovation for drinking water use.
